Description
Full Bench Solution for BMW G/F-Series BDC2 All Key Lost Scenarios - Module 38 Required!
This specialized bench platform is designed for efficient and complete key learning on BMW BDC2 modules when all keys are lost - no vehicle required. Developed for use with Yanhua ACDP and Module 38, it streamlines the entire key programming process by eliminating the need to reinstall the BDC2 unit in the vehicle. It also allows testing of key remote, ignition, and smart functions directly from the bench.
🔧 Key Capabilities
- Complete 'All Keys Lost' Solution: Integrates the required authorization for BMW BDC2 AKL situations when used in conjunction with Yanhua ACDP Module 38.
- Off-Vehicle Key Learning: Program BDC2 keys directly on the bench. This eliminates the need to re-assemble the BDC2 module back into the car for the key learning process, saving significant time and effort.
- Ignition & Key Function Verification: Test the key's emergency start function to confirm that it can successfully turn on the ignition, ensuring the key has been learned correctly before reinstalling the module.
- Remote and Keyless System Testing: Features dedicated ports to connect smart antennas and remote control receivers, allowing for comprehensive testing of the key's remote control and keyless intelligence functions.
- Expanded Module Diagnostics: Supports expandable connections to the BDC2 instrument cluster and the engine control module (DME) for advanced diagnostics and testing.
✅ Platform Features
-
Safe & Efficient Connection: The included bench interface board replaces complex, manual wire plug-ins, providing a simple, convenient, and secure connection that minimizes the risk of errors.
- Universal Compatibility: Designed to be fully compatible with other devices and tools that support the BMW BDC2 module, provided the device also supports the BDC2 AKL function.
🛠 Required Components for BDC2 All-Keys-Lost Jobs:
To complete BMW BDC2 G-Chassis All Key Lost jobs, you will need:
- ACDP-1 or ACDP-2 Host
- ACDP Module 38 (BMW BCD2 for Add-Key)
- ACDP Module 3 (BMW ISN for AKL) with B48 Interface Board*
- This BMW BDC2 Key Learning Bench Platform
*Note: Module 3 and the B48 interface board are required to back up the original engine EEPROM data. If you possess another tool capable of performing this backup, they may be not necessary.
📱 ACDP Procedure Summary (BDC2 All Keys Lost):
-
Enter All Key Lost Menu:
Navigate via ACDP App → BMW → FEM/BDC → IMMO/Mileage → BDC2 ICP+OBD (F/G Chassis) → Add Key (All Key Lost) -
Backup Coding Data
Use Module 3 and B48 interface board (or equivalent tool) to read ECU EEPROM. -
Backup FAFP Data
Save vehicle-specific FAFP data before programming. -
Write IMMO & Coding Data
Load required immobilizer and coding data to prepare BDC2 for key learning. -
Generate Dealer Key
Create a new dealer key, test ignition response on bench. -
Write DME ISN
Sync the ISN between the engine ECU and BDC2 module. -
Reset EGS EWS
Power up ignition (without starting) to finalize the EWS sync with the transmission control unit. -
Confirm Operation
Start the engine to validate that both key and vehicle communicate properly.
This platform is an essential tool for professional BMW key programming on the bench, enabling efficient, vehicle-free operations and fast turnaround times in all-key-lost situations.
